This 8-day Ziyorat tour takes you to the main pilgrimage and historical centres of Uzbekistan: ancient Bukhara, majestic Samarkand and the southern city of Termez, rich in Islamic and Buddhist heritage.

You will visit mausoleums of great scholars and saints, walk through old bazaars, and see the architectural masterpieces of the Silk Road while travelling in comfort with local guides and private transport.

Tour Itinerary (Accordion)

Day 1: Arrival in Tashkent +
  • Arrival at Tashkent International Airport.
  • Meet with the driver and transfer to the hotel.
  • Check-in and rest after the flight.
  • Free time to walk around the city (on your own, if time permits).
  • Overnight: Tashkent.
Day 2: Tashkent → Bukhara +
  • Early morning transfer to the airport for flight to Bukhara.
  • Upon arrival start countryside ziyarat program:
    • Naqshbandi Mausoleum – sacred complex of Bahautdin Naqshbandi.
    • Chor-Bakr Necropolis – resting place of the Juybor sheikhs.
    • Sitora-i-Mokhi-Khosa – summer residence of the last Emir (optional).
  • Return to the city and check-in at the hotel.
  • Overnight: Bukhara.
Day 3: Bukhara Old City +
  • Walking tour in the historical centre of Bukhara:
    • Lyabi Hauz Ensemble and Nadir Divanbegi Madrasah.
    • Old Trading Domes – Toki Sarrofon, Toki Telpak Furushon, Toki Zargaron.
    • Poi-Kalon Complex – Kalon Minaret, Mosque and Mir-i-Arab Madrasah.
    • Ark Fortress – residence of the Bukhara emirs.
  • Free time for individual walks and shopping.
  • Overnight: Bukhara.
Day 4: Bukhara → Samarkand +
  • Drive to Samarkand by road.
  • En route visit Gijduvan pottery workshop (optional stop for shopping and demonstration).
  • Stop at Imam Al-Bukhari Memorial Complex near Hartang village.
  • Arrival in Samarkand, check-in and rest.
  • Overnight: Samarkand.
Day 5: Samarkand City Tour +
  • Full-day sightseeing in Samarkand:
    • Registan Square – Ulugbek, Sherdor and Tilla-Kori madrasahs.
    • Gur-Emir Mausoleum – tomb of Amir Temur.
    • Bibi Khanum Mosque.
    • Shahi Zinda Necropolis – alley of tiled mausoleums.
    • Ulugbek Observatory.
    • Siyob Bazaar – local market for dried fruits and sweets.
  • Overnight: Samarkand.
Day 6: Samarkand → Shahrisabz → Termez +
  • Morning departure towards the south of Uzbekistan.
  • Stop in Shahrisabz – birthplace of Amir Temur:
    • Ak Saray Palace (ruins of the White Palace).
    • Dorus-Saodat Complex.
    • Kok Gumbaz Mosque and Gumbazi-Seyidon.
  • Continue driving to Termez.
  • Arrival and check-in at the hotel.
  • Overnight: Termez.
Day 7: Termez +
  • Full-day tour in and around Termez:
    • Al-Hakim at-Termezi Mausoleum.
    • Fayaz-Tepa Buddhist monastery ruins.
    • Zurmala Stupa.
    • Kirk-Kiz Fortress.
    • Local Archaeological Museum.
  • Overnight: Termez.
Day 8: Termez → Tashkent & Departure +
  • Morning transfer to the airport for flight to Tashkent.
  • Depending on flight time, short sightseeing in Tashkent may include:
    • Amir Timur Square and surroundings.
    • Independence Square.
    • Chorsu Bazaar and several Tashkent Metro stations.
  • Transfer to the international airport.
  • End of Ziyorat tour programme.
