Day 1 – Bukhara – Mary

• 08:00 – Transfer to Uzbek-Turkmen border post Alat/Farab (100 km, 2 hrs). Border crossing (1–2 hrs).
• Meet guide and driver on Turkmen side and drive to Mary.
• Visit History Museum of Merv Region, Central Bazaar, Russian Orthodox Church, Juma Mosque.
• Transfer to hotel. Rest and overnight in Mary.

Day 2 – Mary – Bukhara

• Breakfast at hotel. Visit Ancient Merv (UNESCO site):
• Sultan Sanjar Mausoleum, Mohammed ibn Said Mausoleum, Gyz Gala, Erk Gala, Kesk Fortresses (6–7th centuries).
• Transfer to Turkmen-Uzbek border post Farab/Alat (250 km, 3.5 hrs). Border crossing (shorter time returning).
• 16:00 – Meet driver on Uzbekistan side. Transfer to hotel in Bukhara.
• End of the tour.

• Turkmenistan visa requires support documents (LOI), issued in approx. 3 weeks. Please apply at least 1.5 months prior to tour.
• Check-in 14:00, check-out 11:00. Early/late check-in not included unless stated.
• Drivers may speak basic or no English.
• All timing and itinerary adjustments must be pre-agreed.
• Train journeys may be replaced by car depending on availability.
