Overview

Tajikistan welcomes dear guests to explore the breath-taking nature beauty of Fan Mountains and marvellous Marguzor lakes. Enjoy the 2-day guided trip from Samarkand to Marguzor and Penjikent at special price.

Day 1 – Samarkand – Seven Lakes – Penjikent

• 08:00 – Transfer to border Jartepa. Border crossing (30 min–1 hr).
• Meet the Tajikistan guide and start excursion to the Seven Lakes in the Fann Mountains.
• Each of the lakes – Nezhigon, Soybean, Gushor, Nofin, Hurdak, Marguzor, and Hazorchashma – offer changing reflections with stunning mountain scenery.
• Transfer to Penjikent, ancient town in Sogdiana. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2 – Penjikent – Samarkand

• 09:00 – Start sightseeing in Penjikent:
• Sarazm Important Bird Area (UNESCO), old Penjikent archaeological site, Museum of Rudaki.
• Lunch at local café.
• Border crossing Jartepa (30 min–1 hr), return to Samarkand. End of the tour.
